Samsara dashboard overview page does not update the Vehicle Gateway Connection status in real time.
Resolved - The problem impacting the real-time connection status of the Vehicle Gateway in the Dashboard has been fixed. Throughout this incident, all data was gathered and should now be accurately displayed in your systems.

Monitoring - A solution has been put in place, and we are now observing the situation regarding this issue. We have confirmed that the data backlogs are beginning to clear, and the majority of vehicles are once again displaying accurate, current statuses on the dashboard.

Investigating - We are currently investigating an issue where the Samsara Dashboard Overview page fails to refresh the Vehicle Gateway status in real time, even when the Vehicle is in motion. Our Engineering team is diligently working to determine the underlying cause and to restore the functionality.

Safety Features Not Visible for Tag-scoped Admins
Resolved - The issue affecting access to the safety-related areas in the UI for tag-scoped admin permissions has been resolved. Full access to all safety features has been restored.

Update - We are actively working to restore full access to all safety features.

As a temporary workaround, impacted users can retrieve videos from a vehicle’s trip timeline by selecting “Retrieve Video.

Investigating - We are currently investigating an issue where admins using custom roles with tag-scoped permissions are unable to access the Safety Inbox, Safety tab, and other safety-related areas in the UI. Our team is actively working to identify the root cause and restore expected access.
